Three, two, one… New York!

You’ve probably heard that New York is a classic destination to welcome the New Year in style. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been once, twice or three times before; this city always surprises us with its famous countdown in Times Square, the incredible parties or the numerous events that characterize this city as one of the best hosts to welcome the year. So let yourself involve in the city that makes dreams come true, and celebrate 2022 in New York!

Party and lights in Dubai

Spending the holidays in Dubai is an unmissable experience that you must witness. The city’s most popular area to celebrate New Year’s Eve is the Downtown Dubai neighbourhood, which annually receives more than a million people between residents and tourists, who go to witness a truly fantastic spectacle of fireworks shot from the Burj Khalifa, which create an incredible effect. You can see it all over Dubai! We are not exaggerating. Cheer up and hurry up and plan your trip to Dubai for the end of the year.

Sun, beach and fun in Rio de Janeiro

Pack your swimsuit and sunscreen because it would be a sin not to welcome the new year on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro. With sunny weather, warm people, panoramic views and a seductive symphony of samba, New Year’s Eve in Rio de Janeiro is one of the best places to ring in the New Year. The big party takes place on Copacabana beach, where year after year, approximately two million people gather to dance, swim, play, eat and celebrate while admiring the fireworks. In Rio de Janeiro, you will enjoy 2022 that you will never forget.

Tokyo for a traditional New Year’s Eve in oriental style

If you are looking for a completely different New Year’s Eve than what you are used to, your ideal destination is Japan. First, of course, Tokyo is the city preferred by travellers, as it has the exotic tempo Chion-in, where you can attend the ritual of the ringing of the bell. In the tempo Chion-in at midnight, a monk rings the temple bell 108 times, representing the number of worldly desires recognized by Japanese Buddhism, purifying the ritual participants. However, suppose you prefer a more festive New Year’s Eve. In that case, you can visit the prefecture of Yokohoma, where you can witness incredible light and laser shows, as well as bay cruises celebrating the countdown to the New Year.

Olé, Madrid!

December 31 in Spain is an exceptional holiday, where the celebration and fun go on until the wee hours of the morning. In the city of Madrid, you will find the Puerta del Sol, where thousands of people gather in front of the clock to celebrate the arrival of the New Year, transforming the place into a giant collective party. The atmosphere is fantastic! Lots of confetti, music and streamers everywhere; people dressed up with wigs, hats and masks; and, above all, a great desire to have fun. So, if you want to start the year off on the right foot, don’t hesitate to visit Spain. You’ll have a great time!

What did you think of these destinations to spend New Year’s Eve? We are sure that more than one of them caught your attention, grab your bags and don’t miss out on spending an unforgettable New Year’s Eve in these fantastic destinations! Have a good trip.
