After all this time, we might think that Grey’s Anatomy isn’t as famous as before, but this is not the case. This show still has thousands of fans that patiently wait for the seasons to premiere on Netflix. Many other actors returned to the show, reprising their roles, but this one especially means a lot for this TV drama.
Kate Walsh, better known as Addison Forbes Montgomery in the series, reprises her role this season. She will be a regular during season 18th; however, her storyline arc in this season hasn’t been revealed. We believe that it will have something to do with her spin-off show and her history with her husband.
What do we know about her character?
Addison appeared in the first season of Grey’s during one of the most Incredibles cliffhangers of the series. During the season 1 finale, Derek Shepherd’s strangled wife, Addison, showed us the first abuse case in the series. Since that scene, she became a recurring character and later a regular character.
During the series season 3, the show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes created a spin-off around Addison. Private Practice, the show where Addison is the starred character, ran for six seasons. At the same time, her character had several guest-starring in Grey’s Anatomy, keeping the character on the show.
Alongside Walsh, Grey’s stars like Patrick Dempsey, T.R Knight, Chyler Leight and Eric Dame came or will come back. The show’s new season will premiere on September 30 on ABC. She recently shared a post showing how she feels about this, saying, “I’m so excited to be home again”.
