Jack Kirby’s creation is about to finally be wrapped, and its final trailer is here for us to enjoy. The MCU is constantly growing and fulfilling our expectations about what is to come, making the hype very real. After the premiere of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Marvel launched the complete trailer of the Eternals.
So far, we expect that this movie hit the theatres on November 5. The Eternals could be the next endgame of the MCU, being one of the most significant sagas in the comics. We don’t know much about the Eternals or why they are so important, but we will clarify this. If you don’t know anything about them, don’t worry, we got you covered too.
Who are the Eternals?
The Eternals are almost immortal beings from a high-advanced society that works on the shadows in the universe. They were created as a new form of human race; they were designed by the Celestials – an alien race – to protect the earth. However, things didn’t go according to their expectations, and life on earth developed differently. So even though things weren’t what they should be, they stayed anyways on the earth to fulfil their mission.
Here is where things get tricky, if they are a race created to protect the earth, why don’t they do anything against Thanos? What were they doing all of this time? The movie will answer these questions and many more. This new trailer focuses on why we never knew anything about those beings even though Loki opened the doors of the Multiverse.
So far, we only can be sure that the Eternals have lived on the planet for over 7.000 years. Also, they have been fighting the Deviants almost all this time, trying to keep the earth safe. This addition will affect the MCU in many ways because now our heroes have to handle the fact that the gods didn´t help them.
