5 Games to play if you like GTA

Gaming is a whole experience, and now that we can’t go out so much, you can start to play more games. GTA is one of the biggest franchises in the world, and Rockstar is one of the biggest companies; however, you probably already finished all of their games. This is why we recommend you some similar games that you can’t miss.

Table of Contents

  • Sleeping Dogs
  • Assassin’s Creed
  • Saints Row
  • Mafia
  • L.A Noire

Sleeping Dogs

There are a lot of video games about undercover cops, but they aren’t as good as Sleeping Dogs. Here, you will be playing as this cop that tries to beat the Chinese mafia with his fist. The plot is amazing, and you won’t need a gaming PC to play it because its requirements aren’t so big. But, on the other hand, that doesn’t mean it looks bad; the graphics are incredible.

Besides having an amazing story, the gameplay is something else. The way you fight and react is very similar to the one you have in the Batman: Arkham series, being very intuitive. You can steal cars, buy clothes, and change your character, and, at the same time, you have action.

Assassin’s Creed

Since its beginning, Assassin’s Creed became an icon and for very good reasons. The latest games have changed a lot from just being an assassin, expanding the gameplay. In other words, you can go killing major historical figures, yes, but at the same time, you could be a pirate. No matter which game you pick, the saga’s worth it.

Particularly, we recommend you to try Assassin’s Creed II or Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. In the first option, you play as Ezio Auditore da Firenze, one of the most well-known assassins in the whole series. However, in the second one, you play as Edward Kenway, a vicious pirate during the pirate’s golden years. If you want to play one of the latest games with a more RPG approach, try Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Saints Row

If you are into street gang games, you probably heard something about Saints Row. The whole saga is wild, and the story can get very weird very fast, but the whole game is so fun you must play it. You immortalize a big, bad gang leader who recently got out of prison in their first games. However, sooner than later, an alien invasion attacked the planet.

Yes, aliens. And you could play down in hell in one of their games. We told you, the saga is wild. At some point, you can even be president of the USA and be reborn as an evil angel who fights with aliens. We won’t spoil the experience, try it and tell us about it.

Mafia

You either love Mafia games, or you don’t know the franchise well enough. Even though the saga has a rough start, the story, and the city became gold since Mafia II the gameplay. One of the most amazing things about these games it’s their gameplay and getting to be a big shot, new Mafia soldier in the classic, old film era, Chicago.

L.A Noire

This is more of a classic game but it’s a very revolutionary one, and it was made by Rockstar. Here, you are a cop during the 40s in L.A and you have to investigate crimes. The face technology that Rockstar used and the real-life actors who played as the characters is something else. You can actually detect by the looks if they are lying and enjoy the games as a, well, a cool Noire movie.
