Marvel movies are always welcome, and this one wasn’t the exception. We are just weeks away from the official release of Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. With this movie, we are full into the phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We couldn’t be happier because this means more action and new heroes for the fans.
Another good thing about this movie is the almost entirely Asian cast involve in it. Representation-wise, this is amazing; besides, all of the Asian stars are amazing actors. Something like this already happened with Black Panther and was a huge success, so we expect the same this time.
What can you expect about this new film?
The movie is starred Kim’s Convenience’s Simu Liu, along with Tony Leung Chiu-wai, Awkwafina and Michelle Yeoh. Some of these names – especially Awkwafina in the USA – are already famous. Most of the actors already were in action movies and, as you will see, know how to deliver great scenes.
This movie is a game-changer in the MCU, not only because it’s a deep step in phase 4 and has the biggest cast of Asians in an American action film. Another good news is that Shang-Chi lives to the expectations, generating reactions as “Astounding” and “Game Changer”. In other words, the hype is real, and you should feel it too.
We will also see a new Avengers line-up; however, you won’t miss that much the classic one. There are amazing action sequences and many humour highlights during the movie, like any other Marvel movie we have seen. The film will officially come out on September 3, 2021, in the UK and the US.
