After a year of doing a lot, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a deal with Netflix and want to do inspirational movies. The millions worth deal it’s their chance to complete their Archwell production team, so they wanted to go big. So they hired the award-winning produces of Fargo, a black comedy-drama based on Coen brother’s film of the same name.
He isn’t the only one they hired for their production team; they went on a spree and hired well-known people. Nishika Kumble joined the team alongside James Holt, and both of them have worked on incredible productions. With this, we believe their production dream might be finally coming together.
What else do we know?
Both Megan and Harry have been working on this company for the last year. One example of this is how they replaced Catherine St-Laurent with their new spokesman, James Holt. In addition, they announced this project after their two-hour interview with Oprah by announcing they were hiring producer Ben Browning.
That was a bombshell because Ben Browning career it’s very impressive. He worked on films as good as Room, and recently he was on the film Promising Young Woman. Right now, he is the head of content for Archewell Productions and said about this “From the moment they shared their vision for Archewell as a global production company that will spotlight diverse voices and share uplifting stories, I knew I wanted to help with this unique opportunity”.
After the deal with Netflix was announced, the company took their latest step in the hiring phase. With this, we believe they should be ready to start, and we are very excited. Nishika wants to “create and develop new scripted fare from diverse voices that informs, elevates and inspires”.
