Many of our favourite films and TV shows seem out of this world, but most use real-life locations. Thanks to that, many of us can go to those places and feel like we are part of the set or the story. But, on the other hand, there are places that we didn’t know existed, and it was thanks to a show that we discovered somewhere incredible. Here, we will show you some of the most popular ones.

Table of Contents

  • Go to the Rocky Steps
  • Take a stroll in the Kingsroad
  • Get a picture of Evil Corp Headquarters
  • Visit the Murder House
  • Have a trip to Forks

Go to the Rocky Steps

The training sequence that appears in Rocky has been parody in so many shows and films we can’t keep count. But, not only this classic moment, it’s still relevant; you can recreate it whenever you want if you go to the Philadelphia Museum of Art in Pennsylvania. The movie made the museum so relevant even now that there’s a Rocky statue outside of it.

Take a stroll in the Kingsroad

The books describe the Kingsroad as one of the most dangerous roads in Kingslanding; however, you can travel it safely in real life. Dark Hedges, it’s located in Northern Ireland, and it’s free to stroll along the road. Walking here is almost like being inside a picture, or the show, thanks to the beech trees planted in the avenue.

Get a picture of Evil Corp Headquarters

Mr Robot it’s back on Netflix, which means you can enjoy, again, the adventures of a hacker. Many of the places we saw in the show exist in real life, but Evil Crop Headquarters might be the most famous. You can take a photo in from of the intimidating structure if you go to the 135. E 57th St. in New York City.

Visit the Murder House

We are sure that Ryan Murphy didn’t imagine that American Horror Story could be so famous. The first season it’s probably one of the most famous and everything, thanks to the Murder House. So, if you didn’t know, the mansion is a real house, and you can get a picture in the front. Right now, it’s a residential house, it’s owned, and you can’t peek inside, but you can still see where the show was filmed.

Have a trip to Forks

Twilight is still incredibly popular, and you could go to most places you can see in the film. One example of this it’s Fork, which is a real town located in Washington. Even though the films weren’t entirely filmed here, the landmarks are almost the same because the author actually visited the location. In addition, there are year-round tours, in case you want to really connect with the films.
